This heart-pounding footage gives a front-row account of what adrenaline junkies can expect to experience on board eastern China’s latest and greatest wooden ride.
The largest wooden roller coaster in the region belongs to The Fantawild Adventure theme park in Anhui province.
At an impressive 1,060 metres long and reaching a peak of 32 metres, this wild ride is definitely not for those with a fear of heights.
Eastern China’s largest wooden roller-coaster opens in Anhui
“Jungle Trailblazer”, a wooden roller-coaster claimed to be the largest in eastern China, went into operation this past Wednesday at the Fantawild Adventure theme park in Anhui province. The whole roller-coaster, except for the basic components, was made of American-imported wood.
Riders are guaranteed a terrifying 1,060-meter long journey at a speed of 91 miles per hour.
“I didn’t dare to open my eyes throughout the ride,” one park-goer told reporters after disembarking the Trailblazer.
